Description

Lululala is a new Polish online shop for (mostly Asian) skincare products. I was asked to design the visual identity, shape their social media communication, and redesign their website for both desktop and mobile.

The visual direction is rooted in simplicity, freshness and a natural aesthetic. It reflects the brand’s core values of care, knowledge, experience and joy, creating a welcoming space where customers can feel understood and confident in their skincare choices.

Lululala was meant to be less about looking beautiful and more about the sense of caring for ourselves and nourishing our skin.

Note: The existing logo was provided by the client and was not part of my work.

Concept

The brand had to help people explore skincare without feeling overwhelmed. I wanted to keep the identity very clean, fresh and natural, so the caring part would be emphasised, and to pair it with a more geometric typeface like Poppins for a more approachable feel. We wanted Lululala to become a friendly face on the market.

Social media communication

I built an extensive social media system: product launches, beauty tips, and educational posts that walk through a routine one step at a time. It carries the same tone as the shop, so the brand sounds the same wherever someone meets it first.

E-commerce design

Lululala had a website, but it was very plain and without character, and the user experience was not great: it was hard to explore the site and the products the brand offers.

I designed a whole new e-commerce journey out of our identity: a brand-new homepage, category and product pages, navigation, search and filtering, the cart and checkout, the account area and the blog, along with the components and layouts underneath them.
